Mixing Instructions:

Mixing Instructions 5 Gallon

Read entire instructions before mixing.
1. Thoroughly dissolve contents of package with 20 litres (5 US gallons) of water, a ratio of 5ml to 1 litre(1 tsp to 1 quart). Allow mixture to sit 5-10 minutes.

2. Apply Alaska ONE TIME to a sample piece of wood or discrete area of your project to get desired colour before mixing entire package . Add less water for a darker colour or more water for a lighter colour.

3. Apply to dry wood with a brush, roller, mop, sprayer or by dipping.

Covers up to 200 square feet per gallon on new wood. Older wood may require more solution to cover the same area.

Depending on species of wood and degree of exposure to the elements, the wood will eventually become light silver to charcoal brown.

It can safely be used under all types of finishes like top coats and varnish but always do a test patch first.

Apply only one time for protective benefits. If a deeper colour is desired, apply additional coat.

Precautions

  • As the dry concentrate powder is acidic, avoid inhalation and contact with eyes
  • Wear face and eye protection, protective clothing and gloves
  • In case of accidental contact with eyes, flush with water for a minimum of 15 minutes. If irritation persists seek medical attention
  • If skin irritation occurs, wash off promptly with plenty of soap and water
  • Drinking the solution may cause nausea and vomiting. Do not induce vomiting
  • Use care in applying solution as it may permanently stain fabrics, stonework, concrete and chinking
  • All wood should be free of pet urine and bird feces as Alaska One Time will not penetrate through
  • Do not clean Alaska ONE TIME treated wood with anything other than soap and water
  • Keep away from children
